Born in Minnesota, but raised in Colorado, Jim’s life is as rich and varied as one of the detailed Intarsia mosaics he creates in his customized workshop. Jim excelled in school sports, and his athletic abilities earned him many accolades and awards, while his leadership earned him the respect of his team and classmates, who elected him team captain and their student council president. A hard worker who loves working with his hands, Jim enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry, helping to build new power plants and oil refineries. His leadership skills once again propelled him to success, and he rose through the management ranks. It’s also this hard work ethic that Jim brings to his successful career as a respected businessman who enjoys helping his clients with their important investments.

A Hands On Approach

For this dynamic individual, Longmont is the perfect setting to enjoy the good life. Jim will describe this beautiful place and region as a living Intarsia piece, with all the varied amenities, all the natural attractions, the great people, the friendly neighborhoods and communities coming together to create a rich mosaic. For Jim, a devoted husband and father, it’s also a great place to raise a family. In summer, you’ll find his family, wife Kathy, children Sarah, Amber, Jonathan, and Ivy taking in all the splendors of the area. They enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, camping, snowboarding, skiing and canoeing.

Jim also loves giving back to his community and for many years, he coached youth sports. When Jim isn’t helping his clients, this “hands-on” individual loves gardening and maintaining perennials in over a dozen beds situated around his yard.
